Meanwhile, Daphne invites Mingo and his parents over to the Kennish household for grill night, but things take a turn for the worse when Mingo's father, Larry, turns out to be the same business manager who put John in the financial hardships he's currently dealing with. Bay goes by the restaurant one last time with the intention to talk with Tank, but at the last minute she decides to let things go and has an impromptu date with Garrett. Bay tries to get advice from Regina about what she can do to help it, but Regina tells her she needs to let it go and let Tank try to resume his life. In the end, Tank and Bay apologize to each other, but it's clear Tank's life is changed forever and his depression is starting to get to him. Tank, thankfully, has the sense to excuse himself and get another waiter to take their table, but Bay doesn't let him go so easily.īay catches up with Tank outside the restaurant and the two have a long needed discussion about everything that has happened to them. Of course things don't go smoothly for Bay when she goes out to dinner with her date and her waiter turns out to be Tank. Daphne warns Bay about Garrett being a player, but Bay is surprisingly alright with it because she's not ready to be in a committed relationship. While the family discusses organ donations, they find out that Angelo's had a brain aneurysm that caused him to crash and among the triggers for the aneurysm is anger. Bay calls Angelo's mother in France who says goodbye to him through an emotional phone call. After an emotional run, the family decides that they will let Angelo go and donate his organs to save even more lives. Bay and Emmett find Angelo's will and in it he states that in a situation like this he wishes to be removed from the devices keeping his heart beating.
We see John's emotional side when he thinks that Angelo may have committed suicide from losing money and feels he is to blame for not loaning Angelo money and secretly wanting him to be broke. Daphne dreams about Angelo being there on her wedding day and the fact that she has two dads to walk her down the aisle. Bay dreams about Angelo being there for her in the future when she is giving birth to his grandchildren. We see emotions emerge as accusations go flying and some of the characters feel as if they are to blame for what happened. Everyone tries to find a way to save no matter how the doctor tells them that "brain dead" is "dead".
Daphne reads the words "brain dead" from the doctor's lips and that is when everything goes downhill. Bay, Daphne, and Toby are watching from outside. The nurses and doctor rush into the room. At first Angelo is stable, then things suddenly get out of control. We begin to learn a lot about Angelo and Regina's relationship as we see flashbacks of the two together before the switch. A loved one fights to survive following a tragic accident, and others place blame as emotions run high at the hospital.Īngelo is in the hospital and everything seems stable after his surgery.
